Whooooosh. Wind. Wind is one of the few things on Earth that everyone agree exists, but no one can see. Think about it. Anyone can see the effects of wind on trees and grass, but no one can see the wind itself. And yet, every year the global community pours billions of dollars into it. That’s a lot of cash. Hundreds of millions of dollars are thrown to the wind for a comparatively miniscule amount of energy. Unfortunately, the world is being thrust into a huge economic recession. The door has been kept open, and the wind is pouring in. And the world is allowing huge sums of money to just be blown away. Because of the current economic recession, continuing to invest money into wind energy is not an advised course of action.
